Saturday, September 29th Becoming Tidally Certified
Participate in a guided beach walk. Your guide will educate you on all things tides. Guests will become tidally certified when they can demonstrate essential knowledge on the mechanisms behind the spectacular and world-famous Bay of Fundy tides. This is a one-hour activity for all ages and proper footwear is recommended. Please meet at 1:00 pm at the Long Beach Interpretive Centre. This is a FREE event (included in your admission price).
Sunday, September 30th ‘Making of the Fundy Trail’
Please join us at 2:00 pm at the Big Salmon River Interpretive Centre to launch a very special video celebrating the “Making of the Fundy Trail”, from its original concept to the actual reality of its completion. Special guests will be present, and the public is invited to attend.
Sunday, October 7th “Songs of the Fundy Trail” CD LAUNCH
Join us at 2:00pm in the Big Salmon River Interpretive Centre for the official kick-off of this much anticipated musical celebration. The CD features 12 songs from the talented musicians who have performed over the years at the “Concert on the Green Series”. The public will have an opportunity to meet some of the musicians and purchase the NEW CD. Don’t miss the fun! There will be a few LIVE performances.
Monday, October 8th Fall Festival and Guided Tour
‘The Fall Festival’ will feature local craft and produce vendors with a Halloween art project and treats for the kids. A very special GUIDED MOTOR COACH TOUR is offered at 2:00 PM that will take guests from Parking Lot #6 to Long Beach and will include the six new lookouts opened this season. Coffee and an old-fashioned Molasses Cookie are included. There is a small fee of $10.00 per person. Guests must register on-line or call 833-2019 for reservations. Guaranteed to have Fun!
